  We went on a Sunday, so the lines were long, but manageable. Parking is $5 per car load and they are present in the lot to guide you. Michael Myers chased my son around all night, he would not quite. We had a laugh! The clown house was fun, and the music rocked. Definitely worth the time to visit.

  I went to Land of Illusion as a child and it was so scary, I had nightmares for years and didn't do any scary stuff until last year. But this year, I decided I was ready to try this again now that I'm not so young. It was still just as scary. If you're in the area when this open and you'd like to do something scary and fun, this is the place to go. Aside from the 5 haunted attractions included with basic admission, there's also a tower you can jump off of, a large fire pit to warm yourself up, a full bar, surprisingly nice and clean bathrooms, some food vendors, a large stage that sometimes houses performances and plays music videos when it's not, and you can pay to ride an actual army truck through the woods and shoot zombies!

  This was the second time I've been to Land of Illusions. The first time, 4-5 years ago, was amazing! The haunted houses were filled with plenty of genuinely good actors.
  
  This year, however, I can't say the same. I'm not sure how new the big-name concerts are to this venue, but it seems that the money went towards that, leaving no room for a sufficient amount of actors. There were really only a handful in each house. The majority of the time, they were either empty rooms with fake blood/guts on the walls or electronics. I really hope that in the years to come they can get their quality of haunted houses back up because the entire place/environment is great.
  
  Aside from wanting quality put back into the houses, everything else was great. The lines were long, but it was a Saturday night and Old Dominion was playing, so that makes sense (although 3 hours to wait for the Haunted Trail was too much for us). Beer and food prices were as expected for a venue like this, too.
  
  Great time overall. Get more/better actors back into your haunted houses so I can rave about you again! I convinced 9 people to come this past Saturday and it was a slight let down compared to 4/5 years ago!
